2025 is nearly over, so let’s take a moment to look back at what a year it’s been 🤍 In April, we went quackers for cancer, sending our ducks wandering the village and raising money for Candlelighters and Cancer Research.🐥 June brought our Woodstock event — where we couldn’t get the tables out fast enough.☮️ August was all about Ibiza vibes, with ages 18–80 dancing side by side on the floor🕺. November saw our annual Bonfire Night, followed by lighting up the pub with our Christmas lights ✨ We were proud to be a base for the Tour de Aky — a bike ride commemorating Mick Atkinson, a police officer lost to suicide. Together, we raised funds for a memorial bench devoted to lives lost by suicide, something that truly meant a lot to us. 🫶 At Christmas, we collected over 50 shoeboxes for the homeless, showing just how generous our community really is. This year, we’ve celebrated love, life and loss. From weddings and birthdays to celebrations of life, and everything in between. ❣️ We welcomed familiar faces, brand-new ones, and even a few old team members back through the doors. We met people who will forever leave a mark on us, and said goodbye to those we’ll never forget.🫂 Customers joined us on our holidays, and we were honoured to join others on their wedding days. 🍾 2025 has been a whirlwind. It hasn’t always been easy — rising costs, supporting our staff through tough times, and standing by our customers when things felt heavy. But we wouldn’t change a thing. 👏 Whether we welcomed you this year, last year, or maybe we’ll meet you next year — thank you. Cheers 🥂
